I doubt that she has been pushed too far though. Her power is actually a double edged sword if you think about. Throwdown has probably only fought people that were strong enough to get her power to a certain level and then she defeated them. However, someone like Awesome Girl is not just Super Strong, but she is also fast! All Awesome Girl has to do is attack Throwdown fast and hard enough while avoiding her own attacks and Awesome Girl will overload Miss Human Dynamo!
What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger! Stand a little taller, doesn’t mean I’m lonely when I’m alone!
I’m sorry but this does fit with Human Dynamo
Uh-huh. Okay. Time to pick her up by the hair and drop her in a body of water. Way out in a body of water.
By the time she makes it back to shore, she’ll have used up her charge.
She certainly seems more perceptive than her fellow slave. Of course, you don’t get to be a veteran sex slave without picking up a healthy dose of cynicism along the way.
To be fair we the readers currently don’t know the upper limits of her power. What we do know is that Throwdown can convert Kinetic Energy into another form of Energy to augment her strength and that constantly being attacked will “Stack” her “Charges”.
So here are the questions: How long can she maintain a charge? Does the Energy she receive augment her defense as well as her offense? If Throwdown does not use the Energy will it hurt her body? We know that blunt force trauma from punches and kicks allow her convert Kinetic Energy in power, what if she is shot with a bullet, hit with an explosive device, get hit with debris (a building collapsing on top of her?) Can Throwdown receive energy by other means like hitting a person or object, getting hit by an energy attack, or fire and lightning because they are a form of energy. When getting hit does Throwdown still feel pain, if she is hit hard enough will she fall unconscious before she can use the Energy, and can she use the the Energy in the form of a Blast Attack? One thing I can say about this comic is you make me think and rethink about the possibilities a character may have, I truly love your writing!
Thank you for the kind words about my writing! They are very much appreciated.
To answer your questions:
1. The length of time Throwdown can hold a charge depends on how much energy she’s charging. The more energy she’s charging the less time she can hold it. For example, she could probably hold a very low amount of energy for a day or more, whereas she could probably only hold a massive amount of energy for a few minutes.
2. Yes, energy consumption augments her defense as well as offense.
3. Not using energy doesn’t hurt her. if she doesn’t use it for a long time, the energy will eventually drain by itself and Throwdown will return to her normal strength(which is still superhuman level, but not as strong as someone like Awesome Girl)
4 & 5. Throwdown absorbs energy from any kind of attack(any of the examples you cited would power her up to varying degrees). However, Throwdown loses energy when she hits someone or something. Basically, she gains energy by being attacked and releases it when attacking others.
6. Yes, Throwdown feels pain when being hit. As she gets more powerful, she feels less pain from attacks.
7. Yes, if hit hard enough, Throwdown can be knocked out before using the energy she gained. Unfortunately, Awesome Girl didn’t hit her hard enough, and now Throwdown is too strong to be knocked out easily!
8. It depends on your definition of blast attack. For example, she can’t fire lightning bolts at people, but if someone grabbed her from behind, she could blast them away without having to actually hit them. Basically, Throwdown has to make physical contact (either by hitting or some other way) with someone or something to use her energy powers.
Thanks for answering MOST of my questions, I missed a couple so here they are!
Throwdown can absorb the Kinetic energy from a bullet, what about a High Velocity Sniper round or Anti-Material? Wouldn’t they negate her ability to absorb Kinetic Energy unless she already had a Charge or two in her. What bladed weapons, they pierce so wouldn’t that bypass her ability? The one thing I don’t think Throwdown absorb would be an Ice Beam attack or be subjected to Extreme cold or heat. That not to say she couldn’t absorb the Kinetic Energy from getting hit with chunks of ice. But a Ice Beam attack isn’t Energy, it’s Matter and Throwdown would not be able to absorb exposure to icy or hot and dry air!
1. Whether or not she gains energy from bullets would depend on how charged up she already is. If she’s charged up, she would gain more power from bullets while deflecting them. If she wasn’t charged up, the bullet would do her more harm than good.
2. Throwdown doesn’t gain energy from blades. Although, if she’s charged up, it would be hard to cut her.
3. Being subjected to extreme heat or cold wouldn’t give her energy. While she would gain some energy from a concentrated beam/blast of heat or cold, like the bullets, it would do her more damage than it would give her energy.
Throwdown’s the ultimate (living) shield. She not only takes punches well, but gives em’ back tenfold.
Awesome Girl will have to use her head instead of her fists if wants to walk out of this fight in one piece!

Very clever Mr. Bond! 😉

Actually, that fits Throwdown perfectly!

Not a bad strategy, although getting Throwdown there in her current state might prove a little tricky…
Re: Sharona.
Huh. I kind of like pageboy hairdo demon’s attitude. She’s clearly smarter than ‘Red’.

Please don’t. It’s a very nice ass as this comic angles love to show.
Where’s the Environmental Protection Agency when you need it?
Then again, I don’t think they specialize in protecting nice asses, but someone should do something!

Did I hit the nail on the head? Let me know!
1. Whether or not she gains energy from bullets would depend on how charged up she already is. If she’s charged up, she would gain more power from bullets while deflecting them. If she wasn’t charged up, the bullet would do her more harm than good.

So basically, you’re pretty much correct!
Cool, can’t wait for the next comic!
