So THAT’S how she changed her body to monster woman! Professor squid really IS in big trouble!
Meanwhile, Vicky gets her night of passion interrupted because of the upcoming vampire apocalypse!?! Very interesting….
I take it that Monica has pranked, teased and/or interrupted Vicki once too often in the past.
But why does the mighty ‘House of Harkness’ require the assistance of a solo vampire? Given the noir atmosphere, I wonder whether Vicki might be a vampiric private eye. 😄
It’s safe to assume this isn’t the first time Monica has pulled this stunt and Vicki seems a tad fed up with it.
Calling the House of Harkness mighty might be a tad generous, but more on that later. Vicki is “do your own thing” vampire who isn’t really interested in being part of a vampire house and all the drama and internal politics that tends to go with it. We will find out more over the next few pages, but the House of Harkness isn’t contacted Vicki themselves, it’s more about Monica wanting a favor.
Yeah, I’m against Coitus Interruptus, so unless Vicki is one of those ladies with the stamina of the Energizer Bunny on crack Monica could have waited! It’s not like the bomb is going off anytime soon….is it?
What style of magic does Ms. Waru use? The formation looks somewhat Oriental, which would fit with the possible root of her family name – ‘warui’, evil / bad, if memory serves.
To be honest, I haven’t really worked that out. My knowledge of the occult pretty much ends at “general bad magicy stuff”. (I probably ought to work on that.)
I’m more impressed that you picked up on the meaning of her last name! I didn’t think anyone would catch that.
I noticed the phonetic resemblance, but I didn’t want to make baseless assumptions. 😅 The magical formation seemed to provide some supporting evidence though, so…

It appears that Mistress Malignity’s powers are mystical in origin. Can the Super Rivals manage this turn of events? We will see…
Well, at least Vicki got interrupted for a good cause!

That is the momentous question!
