Iirc, there’s an SCP with a similar theme.
It involved an attempt to get rid of the Hard-to-Kill Reptile by chucking it into another dimension… The SCPF promptly got another one in return with a note reading “Your problem now, suckers!”
Awesome Girl has already taken a beating in her battle with Madam Mischief and the Iron Mangler seems to be packing some pretty heavy duty hardware so, yeah, this is kind of a problem.
I’m thinking that I am getting the picture now about the trouble twins and what is going to happen next. Ex-porn star and house arrest punk rocker meets computer expert and throw in the twins, and you get….A GRAND TIME HAD BY ALL!
Wanna bet that the teleporter sent it to Iron Mangler’s base? 😛 (And obviously, he will blame its unavoidable destruction and the destruction of any property/factory of his it was hidden under on Terry Stork and the girls ^^”)
I seriously wonder why he felt the need to use some fancy cosmic thingamajig that required him to be there in person to set up instead of just having his mooks blow up Stork Enterprises with good old fashioned explosives…
That would certainly be a more sensible plan, but if the Iron Mangler were sensible, he probably wouldn’t have become a supervillain in the first place!
(And yes, wherever the Nega Cube ends up, he will probably blame Terry Stork! Super villains aren’t that great at taking accountability for their actions either!)
Problem with being a bad guy, you can get VERY big picture, that you ignore the details. That’s why you have minions to do that grunt work for you!Getting C&D-list supervillians NEVER works well. Because they’re not always on the same page as you, have their own agenda, and the first chance that they get, they bolt! Bad guys rule number 3:have loyal minions!
Keyword: LOYAL! In Adam Warren’s Empowered, Thugboy and his gang, the Witless Minions, made a career of ripping off stupid villains, stealing and selling their gear until the villain had to go live back with his mommy 😛
Too bad they ended up taking a job for a psychopathic, cannibalistic rapist of a fire elemental instead of their usual goofy, mostly-harmless villains….
IKR? Turns out that “willy Pete “military slang for white Phosphorus was a by-product of the empowered universe. He really was a force of nature that operated on human terms and wasn’t even human to begin with. What I don’t know is has anyone dealt with willy Pete?
I am a huge fan of Adam Warren and Empowered(probably the best thing he has ever put out and that’s saying a lot!)
Of course Thugboy would have to be careful operating around Wonderburgh. Madam Mischief is pretty casual about her minion’s safety and you definitely don’t want to get on the wrong side of Borderline Brenda!
If I recall correctly, Willy Pete was eventually dealt with by MindF*ck’s telepathic brother. Unfortunately for Emp, MindF*ck’s brother was a powerful telepath and even more of a psycho than Willy Pete!
Wow. Who knew?I always knew that Adam Warren’s EMPOWERED series on super heroes was was wild, but I didn’t follow it enough. I only way (at present, anyway. )is through internet programs. Anyway, thanks for the 411 on this stuff.
The Iron Mangler : ” Yeah ! And I would’ve gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for that meddling superskank ! “
Those meddling superskanks! Always messing up perfectly good villainous master plans!
Hopefully that didn’t land in someones front lawn.
(A while later a note falls out of a portal)
“Quit throwing your garbage into our dimension.”
LOL! Hey, that could be a story all in itself!

…
Iron washing-implement made AG bleed rather profusely with one punch. This does not bode well.

Possibly, possibly… 😉

Well, iron mangler is one P.Oed supervillan.I think that he really didn’t think his plans all the way through.
Yep, he definitely could have used a couple of rewrites there.
