I actually owned that comic back in the day. Part of the original Armor Wars storyline. “Armor Wars”, “Face to Face With Force”, “Ghost in the Machine”, that period was one of my all-time favorite Iron Man runs.
That said, Titanium Man(I believe the dwarf character was called the Gremlin) was one of the influences for The Iron Mangler. You will probably be able to guess one of the other influences on the next page. 😉
The crazy thing is that I’ve never seen Conan 2(I’ve only seen the first one) and didn’t know about the mirror scene in the tower. I looked it up on YouTube after somebody made made a comment about the tomb resembling the movie and was surprised to see how similar they were. It probably goes to prove something, but I’m not sure what!
Not gonna ask but what Iron Monger reminds me of Skulker from Danny Phantom. You know little guy in an armor suit.

Looks like MM’S got a very raw deal with iron mangler in jail. S.I.T.E. will be after her too, so I’m thinking that she either starts running or asks for protection from the JB….AND QUICK!
