It’s a little sad that she didn’t see that coming, but then again, Latex Scorpion isn’t a ‘mastermind’-type of villain. She’s reasonably intelligent, but forethought is not her strong suit.
Yes, Latex Scorpion isn’t really a 4-D chess kinda gal. On the other hand, people tend to underestimate how ruthless she is capable of being(Holding Alex hostage with a poison scorpion tail in issue #5 and lying to AG afterwards comes to mind). Has Prof. Squid underestimated her? We’ll have to see…

That is a pretty effective incentive.
As much as she would hate it, Awesome Girl would want to keep Latex Scorpion out of danger, and not just because if the knew her name the villains might put two and two together and realize her housemate shares the same bustsize as Awesome Girl.
Yes, there could be a lot of very unfortunate consequences!
Damn… now that’s a damn clever death threat. Revealing Latex’s identity to the public but to the supervillain’s community and maybe some heroes that are not members of the Super Justice Buddies who hate her so much. They don’t give a flying damn about that reform villain program and might fight Awesome Girl and the other buddies just to kick Latex’s ass.
Don’t forget costumed vigilantes too! It’s a pretty good argument for cooperating with Prof. Squid!
