Referring to herself as “teammate” would indicate that she is also a member of the Felonious Five. Kinda makes you wonder where the other three have gotten to…
She was in the mousetrap!&a prisoner no less!
My guess is Prof. Squid betrayed Shock Jock and/or left her for the authorities to scoop up, which would be bad enough. If she then suffered prison rape at the hands of Barbarianne and/or Rabid, I could see her wanting some revenge, served piping hot.
Same idea as well for me, too!
Actually, things aren’t quite what they seem. something is a little… off about this whole plot.

Actually, Prof. Squid wasn’t responsible for Shock Jock’s prison stint. Shock Jock managed that all by herself. While she does have a grudge of sort against him(we will learn more on the next page) her main motivation is a little more… mercenary.
Let’s just say that there is a whole angle to this kidnapping plot that even Prof. Squid himself hasn’t anticipated! 😉

Oh… I looked backed and saw her in the Mousetrap Shower room. She was one of the prison victims of Barbarianne and Rabid. How did she got out? I think it might be good behavior or she suffered too much torture from Barbarianne and Rabid. Also… is a Supervillain getting revenge on another Supervillain against their parole if it doesn’t involve civilians, superheroes and vigilantes?
While it’s not clear how Shock Jock got out of the Mousetrap, she probably got released because her sentence was up or she may have escaped during Madam Mischief’s prison break back in issue #5.
As far as parole goes, if you’re getting revenge on anybody, you probably don’t care about your parole too much.
Unless you plan to take revenge by living well.
